3D Blender ver 2.44 is the latest release from the Blender Foundation, free open source 3D content creation suite, available for all major operating systems under the GNU General Public License. This version now is fully 64 bits compatible, new modifers were added, a couple of composite nodes were added, and a revamp of the old mesh primitives was done.

Sculpt and Multires
The previous release was the first Blender version to offer 3d sculpt and multi-res. Based on welcome feedback and reporting, a lot of bug fixes and improvements were added. (more…)
